It's the weirdest/coolest Easter gift ever. On March 14th (Pi Day!) 2025, the students of Earth to Sky Calculus launched a Vulcan Easter Bunny to the stratosphere onboard a cosmic ray research balloon. At the apex of the flight, the floppy-eared space traveler floated 113,845 feet above Earth's surface.

This is a plush bunny riding inside a Mr. Spock koozie, which displays a "Live Long and Prosper" salute and a Star Trek tricorder.

After the balloon exploded (as planned), the payload parachuted back to Earth, landing in rugged terrain overlooking the Eureka Dunes in Death Valley National Park. The bunny had a wild ride, and the students got great data for their cosmic ray ballooning program.

This item comes with a greeting card featuring the Vulcan Easter Bunny in flight, telling the story of its journey to the stratosphere.
