This cup has touched the edge of space--and you can have it for Peanuts! On Nov. 10, 2024, the "Asteroid Snoopy" cup  flew to the stratosphere onboard an Earth to Sky cosmic ray research balloon. At the apex of the flight, it floated 107,773 feet above the Sierra Nevada mountains of central California while radiation sensors inside the payload gathered data for a student cosmic ray monitoring project. After the balloon exploded (as planned), the payload parachuted back to Earth, landing in the White Mountains wilderness near the Nevada-California border.
 
The cup comes with a greeting card showing "Asteroid Snoopy" in flight, and certifying that it traveled to the edge of space and back again.
